Poppy's Pumpkin Girl

    Newer Older

It's the perfect time of year to stitch up Pumpkin Girl; she works perfectly with my vintage and primitive style Halloween decor and has been given a place of honor on the mantle.
Thicker outline is stem stitch with two strands of floss, rest is single strand backstitch and straight stitch.
    Free pattern by Andrea Zuill/Badbird
    Thrifted frame, approx 5x7"

Besides the lovely subject itself the 2 different thicknesses of the stich make this picture very interesting.
