Doing a strobist shot every day now to get some practice. This one is simple: A SB-600 above mask and shout through a Lastolite Tri Grip. Would also work with a normal white shot-through umbrella. The Mask is placed on some black paperboard. Done.

    Song for the day:

Today could be the day you might make a change
Lock yourself indoors and plan a getaway
Take a walk outside in the heavy weather
The British Summer time's just great whatever
Join a local gang and get a cool nickname
Make your lifelong sweetheart your ball & chain
Convert your self belief for a new Religion
or leave the TV on and make a decision when you're

Waiting for the day you're not looking for something else

Great lighting. Excellent subject too. I love that movie. Please excuse the upcoming quote ...

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
