FROM SINGAPORE TO EL CIELO
Another image of one of the best mornings I have seen in a long while. 3 exposures automatically blended together, no HDR.
The last great sunrise was when my buddy Tosin (www.flickr.com/photos/tiascapes) was in HK and we caught the sunrise from the Peak.
One of the many cool features of having a shift lens is that you can make 3 images which you can stitch together leaving you free to crop it the way you like later on. Forgive me for including too much sky. Coming from Holland and living in Hong Kong now I miss clean skies and nice clouds. Make that actual clouds. 90% of the years it's just one big grey polluted mass over here.
If you think I moan a lot about the pollution over here you are right. I'm Dutch and we like to moan. I also love this city and think the situation is unsustainable. The irony is that HK's main rival at the moment in Asia is Singapore. And the pollution is one of the reasons Singapore is beating HK in so many sectors at the moment. Many multinationals have settled in Singapore and not HK.
