Another image from earlier this summer. I thought it would be fitting since typhoon warning 3 is out now in Hong Kong. I was very lucky this day not to get hit by this storm. Hong Kong island did get hit by this storm which was moving from left to right (east to west).

4 image pano * 3 image automated exposure blend. It was extremely windy when I took it. I'm glad the images still came out ok.

The tall shiny building is ICC. The bridge is the Stonecutters bridge. Both relatively new additions to the Hong Kong skyline.

I have been so many times to this spot always hoping for a stormy sky and no pollution. After many tries I finally got it. I think that's what I learned from some of my contacts who are landscape photographers. You just need to keep on trying.

***AWESOME***. Xavibarca has done it again! You virtually have the city vs. nature with the threat of the storm, yet the sunlight still making its way through along the horizon. Fantastic! It is definitely worth the effort to make repeat trips to get the photo to match as closely as possible with what you envision!

/Dom/ I used the Canon 35 1.4. I had borrowed it specially since my Zeiss 35 2 was in repair. I used it in portrait mode and stitched 4 images together.

Oh, epic shot of HK! Well done. :)

I don't know if it's me but it seems to me that the photo needs a very minor rotation clockwise because the bottom of the clouds and the horizon do not appear to be horizontal.

Thx mc_razza. I'll check it out! There is of course a curve in the island as well.
