      The aircraft the artist chose here is the civil variant of the Junkers Ju.86. The clean lines are no exaggeration -- she was a sleek design, seeing service all over the world, too.

      Junkers does look bad in English. But the junkers were landed nobility in Prussia, so to the Germans it would have been an evocative name. Very sharp piece of graphics by the way.

      I always pronounced it Yoon-kers.
