Tetons and Ducks
An often-photographed spot, called Oxbow Bend, along the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. James Neeley took me to this spot and we were photographing the river and the mountains with some yellow wildflowers in the foreground. I saw this group of ducks swimming up-river and I watched them until they entered the reflection zone of my vantage point and I snapped a 3-exposure series.
In post-processing, I found that combining the 3 shots in Photomatix 3.0 gave multiple images of the ducks as they were moving during the three exposures. So I had to resort to other means to get this image optimized.
