Parker Lake in the fall after a storm. We had an early fall storm the night before and the clouds began to break up just after dawn. After a 2 mile hike to the lake, I walked up and down the eastern shore snapping images and waiting for the light to get just right. It did.
Location is in the June Lake area of California's Eastern High Sierra.

Just to show that you don't need an expensive camera and lenses to capture a good photograph, I took this image with my wife's Canon A80 4MP Point and Shoot camera. It was lightly raining when we got to the Parker Lake trail-head and I did not want to take my Nikon F3 film camera. The Canon A80 overexposed the sky and I had to do a double-processing technique to bring out some detail in the clouds in Photoshop. After this trip, I never shot with film again. I went out and bought a Nikon D80.
