Balmy breeze {11/52}

We spent a most delicious Xmas afternoon down at our favourite beach in Mornington. It was perfect, perfect, perfect. I could have slept the night. It was beautiful and warm with the gentlest of balmy breezes. Beach adventures are far more enjoyable these days with Arminka's sand aversion non exsistent now! She gingerly skirted the lapping waves though, still ever so cautious. We were nothing short of astounded when she stripped down to her birthday suit and joined another sweet nudie bum on the sand bar, at least ten metres from shore *gasp* Our little chicken is growing up so fast. It was pure bliss to watch her play and then explore the tidal pools. Nothing cuter than a sweet, bare bottom at the beach,

On a less sweet note, we were strange witnesses to a flash storm that ravaged Melbourne. Much love to those who were caught up in the fury. We could see it looming ominously over the city and surrounds from across the bay and were full expecting to be drenched within the hour but it never came. The wind picked up for a few minutes and we started to pack up the picnic rug as some fat raindrops splashed about us but it never eventuated. Before we had packed the car, it was still again. So, we stayed for another hour or so, watched the last of the sun dip behind the black clouds. My kind of afternoon.
