Quilted in love
This morning I finally finished the binding on this quilt. I started it months before Arminka was born. It got pushed in the 'do later' basket with the shift interstate, then lived in a packing box for another year. But now, it is resplendent in it's completion! Inspired by the wise words of a friend, I bundled my now, not so tiny babe up in her special quilt decided to take some pics. The weather was perfect and we drove up to a lookout that was drenched in swirling mists. I was sooooo happy! It was perfect for the pic I imagined. So, you can imagine my horror as before my eyes, the mists dissipated to clear skies within a minute or two, revealing the very ordinary park and upturned paddocks beyond! Argh! So, we went for a drive, stopped to check out Puffing Billy and then headed home. On a last minute whim, we decided to go past our drive and see if, perchance, there was the mist on the other side of the mountain....success!
Prepare for a barrage of misty pics ♥♥♥
