FBLA Literacy Fun at Holm Elementary
WSRE joined in the fun with the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) team from Washington High School as they presented a morning of reading fun and activities for first and second graders at Holm Elementary School. FBLA students selected this activity to do as part of the national volunteer Make A Difference Day and invited WSRE to bring Clifford the Big Red Dog and The PBS Kids. WSRE shared Raising Readers activity books and Clifford gave out books from his very own collection. The FBLA students popped popcorn, read to the elementary students, donned the costumes, and distributed books to all of the participating children. Fun and literacy were the order of the day, which is evident on the smiles you'll find in all of these pictures.
