Ferries - Seattle Multimodal Terminal at Colman Dock - Construction photos
More than 10 million people rely on Colman Dock, the state’s flagship ferry terminal, to travel between Seattle, Kitsap County and the Olympic Peninsula. The layout of today’s facility creates safety concerns and operational inefficiencies due to conflicts between vehicles, bicycles and pedestrian traffic.

This project rebuilds our aging and seismically vulnerable facility so that we can continue to provide safe and reliable ferry service to millions of people across the region. The terminal remains fully operational, with no cuts to service or the number of sailings between Seattle, Bremerton and Bainbridge Island.

Construction began in summer 2017 and will be complete in 2023.
