I-5 King County Concrete Repair and Rebuild
The concrete on I-5 in King County is falling apart and must be repaired and replaced. WSDOT has a series of projects to address the worst sections of pavement first. At this time, there is no money to rebuild all of I-5 through King County.

In fall 2012, crews replaced 64 damaged concrete panels on northbound I-5 between Military Road S. and S. 260th Street. In late winter 2013, Crews began grinding down three miles of rutted pavement in Kent, Federal Way and Seattle's University Distruct.
