Mr. Cunningham first lived here in the late late 1800s. He could make it here raising cattle and eventually move over the Tetons and settled in the Driggs area. I've since tried to find out where he's buried but no such luck at this time.
During my 2011 eight day Jackson Hole, WY fall photo shoot, I met with Flickr's "Laura POV" and for a day and a half we went to as many places as possible clicking away.
I'll have to say, she's one adventuresome gal. Check out her . . Wyoming Set here
This one morning after shooting the wranglers at Triangle X Ranch bringing the herd back to the stables on the east side of Rt 191, we headed out to shoot the historic Cunningham Ranch in its beautiful setting.
If you're going to Jackson Hole, WY and are not familiar with the area, my I suggest you take a look at my ebook "Jackson Hole, WY - A Photographer's Shooting Guide." With all photos in the ebook I have links to a Google satellite map marker so you can see precisely where each photo was taken...no other shooting guide of Jackson Hole has this unique feature. If you're relaxing after a good day's work, why not chill out to Freud's song World of Wonders
If you right click on the highlighted link and select "Open Link In New Tab", you can listen to the music as you review your Flickr photos.
