Apse, St. Mang Basilica, Füssen, Bavaria

The St. Mang baroque basilica is named after venerated saint of Füssen and the founder of the abbey in 9th century AD. The complex was rebuilt in between 1696 and 1726 in the Baroque style. The irregular medieval architecture was transformed into a massive baroque church, based on Venetian models.
