Soldiers of Alpha Coy 1RAR battle the jungle while enhancing their foundation warfighting skills as Rifle Company Butterworth rotation 93.

    Mid Caption:
THE young soldiers of Alpha Coy, 1 RAR, overcame adversity and numerous tests of character when they fought their way through torrential rain and impenetrable jungle during their stint as Rifle Company Butterworth rotation (RCB) 93 in Malaysia.
Alpha Coy deployed as RCB 93 as part of 2/30 TRG GP in Malaysia from February to May, during which time they honed their foundation war-fighting skills en route to achieving certification for company level operations in a complex environment.
The RCB deployment was highly beneficial for the soldiers – particularly the 70 diggers who have joined Alpha Coy during the past 12-months.
The young soldiers of Alpha Coy conducted a number of important range activities to complete their individual competency training and make progress with their 343-3 qualifications in section weapons.
