Moonrise and Tower 02
Walking home this evening, large winter Moon rising in the east, chasing the just-set sun in the west. As I walked past the West End I noticed the perspective made it look close to the tower of Saint John's Church. Sky still had bit of colour in it, a luminous blue, the Moon clear and shining, tiny puffs of silver clouds shining in the moonlight. I didn't have a tripod with me but had to try and get a pic, so these are handheld shots in low light mode, not super-sharp, but dammit, I had to try and catch a bit of that, five minutes later and the Moon would be obscured by the tower from that corner.
