Aloft over Kilauea

Flying over Kilauea's active vents. Yes, that's hot magma down in that cone - it's the only red stuff we saw.


I couldn't smell anything, but between the twisting and turning we were doing at this point and whatever was in the air we were breathing, I did start feeling just a little queasy.
