Georgetown, Penang HDR

    Newer Older

Located about 5 minutes further up the hill from the famous Chinese Temple Complex Kek Lok si is the Air Itam Dam. The dam was built by the Penang City Council between 1958-1962. Today, besides supplying fresh water to Penangites, it's a popular jogging/hiking trail for the locals.

From the dam, one can overlook to the city located north-east of the island, Georgetown which has been listed as World Cultural Heritage Site in 2008.

Technical note: Taken using Canon 400D and Canon EFS 10-22mm, EV2+- bracketing and processed using Photomatix
