Kloof Falls

Or, atleast that is what I'm calling it :-)

This waterfall you hear as you start along the main trail that takes you along the Gorge rim. You get small glimpses of it through small viewing areas just off of the trail. But, you really can't appreciate it until you see it from the bottom of the gorge. I obviously would have liked to have had even light, but I was lucky enough to get the main body of the water in shadow

The shot here was composed of 5 exposures. I used Photomatix for blending and then used a modified exposure, for the sunlit part of the shot, to mask in a tad to get it the way I wanted..

Note, there is another waterfall at the top of this on you can stand on top of about a 100 yards into the hike. I could probably of climbed up this fall but being by myself I didn't think that was the wisest of ideas (especially considering my troubles in the past with climbing waterfalls).

Thanks for the comment CJ... This is in South Africa... look at the upper right and check out the map location.
