Jordan Joins Marrakesh Treaty
WIPO Director General Francis Gurry (right) received on June 26, 2018 Jordan's instrument of accession to the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled from Ambassador Saja Majali, Permanent Representative of Jordan to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva.
Jordan becomes the 40th country to join the Marrakesh Treaty. The Treaty enters into force for Jordan on September 26, 2018.
