Canada’s Accession Brings Marrakesh Treaty into Force
WIPO Director General Francis Gurry (left) received on June 30, 2016 Canada's instrument of accession to the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled from Ambassador Jonathan Fried, Permanent Representative of Canada to the World Trade Organization.
Canada became the key 20th nation to accede to the Marrakesh Treaty, which brings the Treaty into force on September 30, 2016.
