Helsinki Cathedral Finland

Helsinki Finland was the other stop that the wife had visited 10 years ago. We took a quick 15 minute shuttle to town and wandered around. She had told me about a giant white church that just kind of sneaks up on you. We turned a corner somewhere and BAM! Giant white cathedral in front of me. Very impressive building.

While in Helsinki, we tried some salmon soup, sausages and rein deer meat balls from one of the orange tents by the harbour. Very good stuff.

I decided to travel light this trip and only took my Olympus E-M5 with the 9-18mm and 40-150mm R 4.0/5.6 along with an Olympus 35RC. I walked around with the Olympus E-M5 w/ 9-18mm in-hand while the 35RC is in my jean pocket. Both cameras were readily accessible. I was quite satisfied with my selection and look forward to getting my slides developed. Maybe I'll be able to put together my first set of holiday slides. :D
