My First Spring Walk
This afternoon, the weather was perfect, the light was rockin and I had a reason to be out for a few minutes on some errands.
Earlier today, I made the first baby steps at finishing off a roll of film I started months ago so I could get some new shots for my wife before she gets home.
If you know me very well, you know I take FOREVER to finish off a roll of film. Everything has to be right before I'll click the shutter and actually expose some film. I guess I'm too well adjusted to my digital life.
Anyway, on the way home, I thought I'd enjoy a few moments in a local park before I went to the house. Even though I was actually pretty excited to go home, I really have been itching to corner a stranger and torture them with creepiness until I get them to surrender to a quick 100 strangers portrait. It's been so long because of my injury that I hadn't shot one in a very long time.
Anyway, I wasn't successful on that front, but I did get about 15 exposures. I thought I was finished originally, but as it turns out.... it's the dreaded roll of 36.
The AE-1 got the better of me today. I enjoyed my walk so much though, I couldn't not take one digi to mark the occasion. Plus, the AE-1 is one sexy beast, at least to me she is. Quickie Camera Porn to close out the afternoon then.
