No One Cares How You Got There

Does the artistic process matter? Of course—but only to the artist. For the audience, it’s the result that matters most...

"Pringle Tree"

This hollow sycamore is the third generation tree that provided a home for settlers near the Buckhannon River in West Virginia. John and Samuel Pringle were the first settlers. Deserters from the British-American forces mustered at Fort Pitt, Pittsburgh, during the French and Indian War, found the wilderness along with the river ideal for hiding. They lived there from 1764 through 1767.
