Turkey Vultures

    Newer Older

Have you ever seen one of these birds soaring around? Turkey vultures are a sight to see gliding and soaring with its wings in a tilting V-shape, circling up on the thermal air currents. They have an acute sense of smell when they seek food. A fun fact is that they lack a syrinx... its only vocalizations are grunts or low hisses.
