Had it not been for the fact we were taking this trip in a 4 Wheel Drive we more than likely would not have got to see this 35 ft. falls located about 200 yards off a forest service road. The area a couple of days before received about a foot of snow and many backroads were closed or dangerous. It was nice to see that we were the first humans to visit this falls up close and personal however we were somewhat confused by some paw prints in the snow leading from the base of the falls, a scattering of fur along these tracks to a deer leg about 50 ft. from the falls. After some online investigation of the falls I think I may have found the answer to our debate of how and where the leg came from after having seen a few images where deer have fallen to their death from the top of the falls, hence the name "Slick Rock."
