Woah Bill! Nice finish. But I know for fact how viceral your work is when the piece is right in front of you. I really like the intensity of the of the contrast between the fore and background elements. Wonderful!

@trabukovisual- thanks! I'll do my best!

@Llyn- I hope to get a pro to take a better picture of this soon to show off the detail (my beat up 3 mega pixel camera does a decent job, but still...)

@SEAMO- thanks for checking out my work!

Wow you are, undoubtedly, on fire! Great work... do you have a portfolio site btw? I'm doing some early research for an exhibition I'm curating for the Brisbane Biennale...

would love to see it up close. I'm sure a small reproduction on Flickr does not do it justice.

(I'm the sort of guy that makes security personnel in museums nervous by leaning in on paintings and studying the brush strokes for a long time. They're used to people that cast fleeting glances at lesser-known Da Vincis and completely ignore, say, a Bosch or Vermeer. They probably have no clue what I'm doing.)

      thanks everyone!
@redtieguy - I'm the same way. I like seeing the painter's hand when looking at a piece. makes me feel a little like I was there when it was made.
