Lunar Fogbow

22 seconds @ f/2.8 ISO 800

Canon 5D markII

Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L usm

At night under a clear sky the ground radiates heat away to space. The surface cools and this in turns cools the adjacent air to form a radiation fog.If there is a bright enough moon then a lunar fogbow might be visible.

It was a stunning optic phenomena to witness as if you move the fogbow moves with you, so it has been easy to set up a composition with that tree ;)
