Tea Fields of Gunung Kerinci

Farmers harvesting tea on the foothills of the 3805 meter tall volcano, Gunung Kerinci in Jambi province, Sumatra. The tea plantation in Kayu Aro is one of the largest in the world, and the second highest in elevation after Darjeeling. Mt. Kerinci itself is within the boundaries of the expansive Kerinci-Seblat National Park, which is home to tigers, clouded-leopards, bear, gibbons, tapir, elephants, rhinoceros, and countless birds and reptiles.
