Taj & Sunrise, Across Yamuna...

© Capt Suresh Sharma. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Another morning session across Yamuna River and it got me more shots, hard work pays.

When I visited the Taj Mahal for the first time, as a tourist, I did admire it but not much on the second visit. But it seems, when I started visiting the Taj, with my camera, it opened my `third eye' and showed me what I could not see before; amazing life around the Taj. Its a photographer's delight, treasure trove for photographers. Almost, every tourist and photographer who visits India, loves to shoot the Taj with its own camera.

I have spent numerous winter mornings behind the Taj, with my camera and freezing cold tripod. I used to land up there much before the first light of the dawn, so I could see and feel the Taj through my third eye and then plan my shoot in peace, no rush and fumbling. Life behind Taj is different, especially in the Yamuna river.
