Fort Worth Chisholm Trail Mural

    Newer Older

Located in downtown Fort Worth’s historic Sundance Square, Richard Haas’ mural spans the southern facade of the Jett Building, built in 1907. The mural commemorates the Fort Worth segment of the Chisholm Trail’s cattle drives from 1867 to 1875.

After sending this photo to the Richard Hass website I got this nice e-mail back:

"Dear Howie, Wow, your photo is great! We have professional chromes, but done before HD. Let us know the best way to reach you should anyone want to use this and you need photo credits. With best regards, Katherine S. Haas."

    Cool.

Mr. Howington, great shot and thank you! With your permission, I've used your shot to illustrate my work on my website: www.jwpainting.net

I worked for R. Haas and actually executed this work using Mr. Haas' designs and carefully following his direction. Enjoyed the approx. 8 weeks I spent living in downtown Ft. Worth!

If you don't want me to use this shot for my portfolio, just contact me and I'll remove it.
