This is another fine example of your work Pete Souza. The determination and focus you have captured in the face of President Barack Obama is wonderful and so characteristic of him. President Obama is thoughtful in his endeavors and seeks the guidance and knowledge of others.

The United States has great leadership these days, and the opening of doors between party lines is a tribute to the valiant effort of their work.

I feel I must tell you as well, Mr. President, I saw images on flickr that announced that attempted attack. I relayed some to a cousin I had not spoken to for several years, as he is a long term military member and also a developer of work with the Apache AH64 night vision project.

Unfortunately he was completely unfamiliar with flickr and did not at all understand what I was trying to relay. The attack was concealed within notes at flickr.

flickr has extremely high page rankings because their sheer volume. Three days prior to the attempted attack images in flickr and across Google were reporting that Time Square was All Lit Up.

Currently I am in the process of trying to establish a sponsored group at flickr. I do hope you once I get my additional group started that you will join too. I will certainly send you an invitation as I have to another group I created. Thank you again Mr. President and Mr. Pete Souza.

The flag in my icon may look familiar.to you Mr. President. It was front page on one of your campaign sites for Memorial Day Weekend. the site is Positively Barack....

I have thank you. You need to remove your images that do not belong to you Delicious Lady. Really.
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Unfortunately flickr is lax in their site that they require the members to do all the policing. So yes its been a busy day, but its the weekend so I have the time. How is the removal of your photostream coming along, Delicious Lady?
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

oh, I have permission in that. My Uncle painted a scenic image of President John F. Kennedy in his PT boat. It was presented to the President at the White House Years ago. I was not born but have seen the wonderful photographs of President John F, Kennedy with my uncle. I asked the Kennedy family a few years back if it was okay, and they gave me permission.

Where's your permissions? You aren't harassing me are you Delicious Lady?
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Oh, and before you may ask I also have permission from Jon Bon Jovi to use the America recording that I mixed with friend's niece. its in that comment stream.
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Well, Delicious Lady is now vanished. And my comments do not make sense anymore. I am sorry for that.
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Ask the Kennedy's, they have the painting not me. My deceased Aunt had the photos. you have a simple mind Delicious Lady. You are completely unversed in copy right law and flickr rules.

okay, last time. read my comment....

I saw the photos, My uncle passed away before I was born. My aunt is deceased as I mentioned. I have no idea where the photos are. My uncle was much older and played with Joseph Kennedy, Sr. as a kid. You need to remove your photos Delicious Lady.

I actually listen to the speech in full length often. It is of the most inspiring words I have ever heard. Leadership like that is extremely hard to find. I feel we have found it again with President Barack Obama. Like any President before him, he needs the solidarity of the complete nation to succeed and as many allies as we can find in the world.

Your words are very beautiful gwennie2006. Let there be a psalm for those non believers!

    Psalm 35:24
Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust men!

    Psalm 109:29

Let my accusers be clothed with dishonor, And let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe
  • www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Thank you Prayer Group for Obama.
Your gesture is so kind, and I appreciate it very much.

I am also very sorry for what others remark to you. You have strength in not stopping in your prayers, and that is reassuring. I wish they would see the hypocrisy in their statements. It seem only each of them are allowed free speech and then they ridicule others who have anything to say.

    May God Bless you.
No one ever quoted me a Psalm before. Thank you for that too.

    Stay strong! and never stop!

    I prefer clarity over agreement.

As you can see, they both have work, also not done by them, and I am sure posted without permission. If you single out one person and not all that do this, you may appear to be harrasing another poster. Flickr has rule for that too.
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Yes, well thank you too Sarita. I am very familiar with flickr's rules. I have been here since before Yahoo! purchased flickr. I am also quite familiar with the streams you posted. They actually have stolen some of my work. You see I have been doing the forum thing for avery long time too.

As I am sure you quite aware of Sarita, it just takes more time with copyright infringement thing through Yahoo! corporate. Its not the simple removal of an account like when you violate the other guidelines here at flickr. Sometimes it requires the additional time and expense of hiring attorneys too.

I guess that's why copyright infringement carries a treble clause. We'll have to see. But, I do not just sit around and ignore problems. That would be wrong. I have in no way harnessed anyone. Your suggestion that I have is just plain inaccurate.

And if you are interested I have 35 flickr accounts 8 of which are pro.
  • Sarita Linda 5y

I did not say you harrased anyone, but I did point out that when you come to a stream and target just one flickr member when many on this flickr stream are doing the same thing, it may appear that way.

I have seen flickr removed people over the smallest gripe while letting others slide with not so much as a slap on the wrist. Look no farther than this photo stream to see that Flickr enforces almost no rules.
  • SemperFi www.GrfxDziner.com 5y

Yes, I totally agree with you Sarita. flickr really is an enormous problem. They literally have created a monster that has no control. To think that a company as large as Yahoo! could develop a site that enforces everyone to remain completely commercial free....and then insist that the same members monitor the entire site for infractions.

Even when you bring them a blatant infraction they say we did get your flickrmail. As I mentioned I am trying to establish a sponsor group and depending on what it costs I may do more.

There is such great potential at this site. There are the world's best photos anywhere. The Whitehouse stream for example....whether you are for our President or not, you have to admit it is a new experience to see the imagery come in that normally would have been sent to the newswire agencies. Myself I was not aware that so many photos were taken of the President's everyday activities.

Were you aware Sarita, that flickr was hacked over their two week holiday break this passed Christmastime?
