cpl, it's all by design. they know exactly what they are doing.
Since he's been in the WH, he's taken 51% of our economy under the government control. Government agencies are growing like mushrooms after rain. unemployment in D.C. is just 5% and more to be hired for IRS. 159 agenicies will be created under this bill. all staffers will get government benefits, or become union members that no one can fire whatever they do.
22,000 people will lose their jobs in MA thanks to medical device taxes, but 16,000 will be added to IRS. How nice?
Every medical device will get taxed. And who will pay that? We, the end user.
Obama is dividing the country on purpose. Just in his yesterday speech he was mocking us, who don't agree with the bill.
The President of the US is mocking his own people. Just think about it. He is dividing us on purpose. The most polarized President in the history. It's easier conrolling people when they are divided.
Rules For Radicals: marginalize. He follows Saul Alinsky rules.
Obama owns many people now. He's inslaved a huge population by giving shit for free. Lenin did the same.
I say this. F....... this government if they are making fun out of its own people.
almost 80% of Americans think our economy will collapse.
Can anyone come up with a better plan how to destroy America during very hard times?

So I have to get this straight with all of the "independents" that post here (republicans in sheeps clothing)

Under the 2003 Medicare prescription drug program, companies that provide prescription drug benefits for retirees have been able to receive subsidies covering 28 percent of eligible costs. But they could deduct the entire amount they spent on these drug benefits – including the subsidies – from their taxable income.

So the under Bush, the government GAVE $$ to the HUGE CORPORATIONS then turned around and got a HUGE tax break on the $$$$ we, the tax payer, gave them?? And all the while, the elderly in our country have been going broke paying for additional coverage for the drug program.

AND THIS IS GOOD FOR US HOW??

More Republican trickle down economics that seems to never trickle down........

The new law allows companies to only deduct the 72 percent they spent. Which should be all they are allowed to deduct.

With the office of Mayor being controlled by DUMBocrats for over 60+years it should come to no surprise that the city is broke and can't balance the budget, because their re-election tactic has always been and is based on the premise that if all the city employees keep voting them in they receive the farm in the form of their contracts. Well the BUBBLE has finally BURST, all the legacy costs have overwhelmed the system (BIG SURPRISE).

Not only did taxpayers pay MOST of the employees to do next to nothing (some nothing at all) most of their career but now are required to do the same for the rest of their lives. Proof of the fact of how much work city employees do, 1-Pittsburgh is viewed as the POT HOLE capital of the world, and this past winter a man died after his family called 911 a total of 10 times in 3 days for help and the paramedics couldn't get through because the streets were not plowed (the paramedics actually asked the family to try to bring the man to the ambulance, and these same employees expect ENTITLEMENT PERKS for the rest of their life.

So now Pittsburgh's newest entitlement driven Mayor, Luke Ravenstahl, has proposed a new SODA TAX (the latest TAX FAD category sweeping America). The new tax proposed is 2 cents/ounce. Think about this: go to your supermarket in the Pittsburgh area and purchase a case of canned Pepsi for 5.99-then .42 (7% sales tax)- then 5.76 soda tax (based on 24 12oz cans @ .02 cents per ounce). Better yet, you can purchase a 2-liter of Pepsi .99 (on sale) -then .07 (7% sales tax)- then 1.34 soda tax (based on 67 ounces @ .02 per ounce).

This is only the beginning of what every level of government across America will be DREAMING up to find ways to cover the GIANT PONSI SCHEMES that have been instituted on society. Bernie Madoff does it and goes to jail for 150 years, politicians do it and get re-elected. WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!!!!!!!

      A good point of view:

Before President Barack Obama took over the White House, no United States citizen had ever been forced by the federal government to buy a product against their will. But now, thanks to the passage of Obamacare, Americans, by dint of their mere existence, are now required to purchase Obama administration approved health insurance or face a penalty assessed through the Internal Revenue Code. This is simply unprecedented. The income tax doesn't kick in until an American earns income. Auto liability insurance doesn't become mandated until an American chooses to drive (and even then it's only by the state). And farmers must first grow food before they are subject to the regulations of the Department of Agriculture. But facing federal government sanction for simply breathing? That is a troubling assault on American liberty.

The radical LEFT in France and Europe

      From BBC
Certainly, ministers in Paris are wary of some form of insurrection.

Recent intelligence reports talk about an "elevated threat" from an "international European network… with a strong presence in France" and a "new generation of activists", possibly a "re-birth of the violent extreme left".

A spokesman for the interior ministry, Gerard Gachet, told the BBC that the threat was real.

"The term 'ultra-left' was used by the interior minister to set this group apart from the extreme left who turn up for elections and keep within the parameters of democratic debate," he says.

But talking of more radical groups, he points to recent pamphlets and books published anonymously, but sometimes with a circulation of about 20,000, with titles such as How to Start a Civil War and The Insurrection That is Coming.
