OK. we disagree. Time will tell.
They know that they purposely miscalculated accounting. But, that's OK. You can't buy a Lexus for Kia price.

It's so nice to see the real Hillary. She seems really genuinely happy in this photo. And notice whose got their hands on top and who has their hands on the bottom. Interesting body language.

KarlenM: Thanks for your comments... I guess this really isn't a Canadian debate so I'll stay out of it from here on in. I can't say whether the Democrats or Republicans have been lying to the American people about your current system or the system they are trying to build. But, I can say, for sure that I've heard lies about our system made by the broadcasters I referred to; statements that even the most conservative Canadian would agree was false. On the contrary, Michael Moore's film on this subject was an accurate portrayal of our system. Best wishes for a successful outcome to this issue; I hope you are able to create a fair and just health care plan that serves the best interests of all your citizens.

      Debate is a democratic pillar.

I would like to encourage retro-redux for her (I guess so much commmunicative power is coming from a woman) making her point on Health Care as a block to build the tower of "pursuit of happiness".

In Europe our mouths fall open when we read and hear the agressive critiques to the reform system. Still after this bill, we feel the US will be retarded in the area of taking care of each other...

      Hey, Sun Flower, Scot,
Still after this bill, we feel the US will be retarded in the area of taking care of each other...

One should not be forced helping. When you forcefully take money from one and give it to another one that's not the right way.

Who cares what you feel. You guys are broke thanks to your entitlement programs. Your unemployment has been in double digits for years and economy has been stagnant fro a long time.
We see progressive/socialistic Greece ran out of money. Who is next? UK is bankrupt. France is scared of cutting any entitlements because every time they mention it and thousands are on streets demanding them back.
You don't understand one thing. This is a 300mln people country. No one company or a government can handle such a huge load.
This is 16% of US economy we are talking about. It will be a mess to handle 300mln people healthcare system.

After this picture was taken, both of them bent over and kissed the ass of the healthcare executives in the room.
BTW, what you morons so happy about? What the hell are you celebrating??? There's no public option. No cost controls. Our rates are going up. That's for damn sure. We're getting more people insurance covereage -- by forcing them to buy crappy insurance plans. This is a victory only for the healthcare industry, because they're getting more customers.

      ONLY GOVERNMENT CAN REGULATED COMMERCE
AND HEALTHCARE IS A BUSINESS THAT HAVE TO BE
REGULATED TO STOP ABUSES BY THE INDUSTRY...

      END OF DEBATE

Yes, yes two great Healthcare Reform fighters, President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton. Yes, also she is very proud of him for this accomplishment. Hillary Clinton struggled hard for healthcare reform during the first administration of Clinton, to the point being almost destroyed.

Monica Lewinski was not just there in the White House as an intern... She was put there secretly, as part of this conspiracy against the Clintons, trying to destroy them...another of the great Americans conspirancies against the people of this nation by radical right insane reactionary maniacs. Just look back and see what happened to Charlie Chaplin for his involvement during II World War trying to create a third front. He was discredited with young women at mid-night screaming in front of his house, claiming being impregnated by him, until he had to move out the country. WHERE ARE THE AMERICAN HISTORY REVISIONIST ?

      @sanders032510
look at the other bits of the bill:
one of which was no denial of coverage because of pre-existing condition. In one case I read about, pregnancy was a pre-existing condition....
      'nuff said?
A friend's friend in CDA was offered a professorship in the US. everything was fine for both parties till they came to the health insurance part: The fact that her husband, a diabetic, would be denied health insurance coverage. She didn't take the job.

      arimartinez....you're pathetic.

calling this "reform" is idiotic. costs are still going through the roof, and they just made sure that everyone was on the hook to pay for it. and did a whole bunch of other completely unrelated stuff. great job.

but that has nothing to do with this picture, which is a nice shot.

      glad someone's elated. wheee.
