I know for a fact that it takes time for companies to convert to computer upgrades like this because they need to do internal testing before rollout. I believe it's even more intense being a high security place like the White House specifically and the Federal Govt in general. They just don't upgrade because it is the newest version.
I still use XP. My company, known all over the financial world, still uses XP Pro.
I am in no hurry yet to upgrade until I can safely make the turnover.

Maybe because Windows Vista still has lots of bugs and technical glitch. I've experince that before during the early days of its release.

If you look at the image in full size, just above Katie's hands you can see someone's March Madness bracket picks! Hahaha!

Very casual. I like the laid back vibe this White House has. The previous one had all the charm of an office in the Death Star.

I can see a gmail account in use(along with a standard XP wallpaper). The painting on the wall is awesome, I wonder who's the author ?

If "cool" can ever be captured, I think this is it!

And this is so for the President and for his assistant ...
      How comfortable can you be!

      Great people, great President.
