Joe Biden, this is why I love and respect you. An unannounced visit to give to others...no pre-publicity. For those who believe this is a one-time event on the part of the Bidens, think again. Joe has unselfishly given of himself...as has the Biden family...his whole life. The fact that this was left off of any notice to media until after the fact, speaks volumes. This is typical Joe and Jill Biden and I've always respected them for their service.

This is what Christmas is all about ... thanks for sharing a special moment of giving with us ... Merry Christmas to all . .. enjoy the day with family and friends ..

I was hoping Biden would dress up as Santa and have people sit in his lap.

Merry Christmas 2009....Did Bush Jr. and Ronald Regan volunteer all year around?...The did just as all Presidents and Vice Presidents are suppose to do show respect for our soldiers. It's just that simple!!!

    And good for the Bidens...

I guess Merry Distressed Vittles was able to leave these snarky remarks on CHRISTMAS DAY in between her daily rounds of volunteer work?? NOT!

No she is too busy living on this web site, leaving stupidity in her wake, Practice what you preach, you bitter crank!

I highly recommend reading " The Marketing of Evil"

The Marketing of Evil" reveals how much of what Americans once almost universally abhorred has been packaged, perfumed, gift-wrapped and sold to them as though it had great value. Highly skilled marketers, playing on our deeply felt national values of fairness, generosity and tolerance, have persuaded us to embrace as enlightened and noble that which all previous generations since America’s founding regarded as grossly self-destructive – in a word, evil.

In this groundbreaking and meticulously researched book, Kupelian peels back the veil of marketing-induced deception to reveal exactly when, where, how, and especially why Americans bought into the lies that now threaten the future of the country.

What lame comments, crystal ball, curtain twitching and moseying. What small minded revelations.

Have you noticed all the spamming, there are even more now. Vittalissue, Flag, Merry and now Happy New year believe the more she spams, the mightier her comments become...LOL And she makes sure to go back to each photo and leaves the last comment... why?...who knows. All I know is there is so much waste and much delusional belief.

    STOP THE SPAMMING!

Thank you for your service to others, Mr. Joe Biden!

Oh, what fun... I love how the composition makes VP Biden seem like the only one, where there are several in the photo, including those in the hats. You see Biden first then the hats and then those in the foreground.

Imagine how much more special the holiday was for the soldiers at Walter Reed when the Bidens showed up. Experiences like this are good for the soul and, therefore, good for recovery.

The Beautiful Biden family. They've done this type of thing in Delaware throughout the years, not just at holidays, and their presence and service has always been appreciated and inspiring. They've brought positive attention to our military and the underserved. I don't understand the hate that has shown up..it is the opposite of Joe and Jill Biden. Interesting. Feels better concentrating on the Bidens and ignore the rest ;-)

Obama wants to play GOD in life and death decisions

    August 20th 2009
In a morning conference call with about 1000 rabbis from across the nation, Obama asked for aid: “I am going to need your help in accomplishing necessary reform,” the President told the group, according to Rabbi Jack Moline, who tweeted his way through the phoner.

“We are God’s partners in matters of life and death,” Obama went on to say.

I am not aware of any other President in the history of the United States of America who ever had the arrogance or the impudence to elevate himself to the same level as Almighty God the Father.

is "man-made global warming" really a problem, or just an expensive, mythological diversion from reality?

    i'm thinking the later.

instead, the very real problem confronting America (for the foreseeable future) is terrorism. i wish that this pc-nation were taking it more seriously.

Ms. Logan: "there's no doubt in your mind about that?"
    Mr. Crumpton: "none"

i'm quite sure that vince flynn would attest to the accuracy of Mr. Crumpton's message above.

note to obama administration and the west: it's time to get your heads screwed on straight.

OUR SAFETY, OUR LIBERTY, DEPENDS UPON PRESERVING THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AS OUR FATHERS MADE IT INVIOLATE. THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES ARE THE RIGHTFUL MASTERS OF BOTH CONGRESS AND THE COURTS, NOT TO OVERTHROW THE CONSTITUTION, BUT TO OVERTHROW THE MEN WHO PERVERT THE CONSTITUTION.

A nice gesture done by the vice-president.

I have heard the man say that he has had a good father, that bestowed upon him "unconditional love". I believe on Christmas day, we saw the fruits of such upbringing.

Supporting men and women to be good parents, that is a good line of policies.

Is true Joe Biden had a father and still a mum, who love(d) him unconditionally and brought him up to be a beautiful person and humanist. Joe has also instilled such compassion in his sons and daughter, whom I have no doubt love their children unconditionally. This is a wonderful bond and a gift to the future. The Biden family has always been generous, understanding, and forgiving. We are fortunate to have Joe as our vice president.

    Secret Service:
Mr. Vice President, a terrorist just tried to commit a terrorist act by detonating his underwear on an airplane. Luckily, he was stopped, sir.

    Biden:
    Tsk, Tsk!
You mean a lonely young person has been misunderstood by the United States, and needs some rehabilitation, preferably from the Federal courts, instead of our kinder and gentler military.
But, I'm sure the "system" worked.
Next in line please . . . Merry Christmas!

    Aide:
    Ummmmmm . . . yes, sir!
