Yes Jdog1063, I am sure it was very convenient for those men to die, and I am sure those families were happy, dare I say thrilled, to help with this "photo op" Or maybe, just maybe, they were honored to have a president who gives a damn about those dying for their country.

Try having some dignity and leaving your crap on a page that does not have small children or the dead.

Are you actually in the military or are you pulling this out of your ass?

As someone who is currently in the Air Force that didn't vote for President Obama; I support him as my Commander in Chief. When I saw the news that he went to Dover, it showed all of us soldiers, who put the uniform on EVERYDAY, we have someone in the White House who cares about us. This is not Photo-op, and stop the Obama hate at least on this subject. We are all Americans, and I have the upmost respect for him. Just like I hated when Liberals complained about Bush, nonstop, your kind of thinking makes a lot of us in the military wonder what we are fighting and dying for.

@Sarah Middlebrook, my Flickr Friend: thanks for your testimonial and grateful comment as a family member of serving marines.

In my opinion too, the fact that the president did not choose to let this opportunity of "honoring the dead"-ritual pass by, is awe inspiring, so nice, so noble. I feel reverence for the son of Obama senior, again and again, the more I learn about his life story and his identity & behavior...

Quoting Mr Rush Limbaugh on the present administration:-

"no foreign enemy comes even as close to frightening them and worrying them as conservatives do in this country. "

      I'm sure that's very true....

      James Madison :

"The ultimate authority...resides in the people alone."

"It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment upon our liberties. We hold this prudent jealousy to be the first duty of citizens and one of the noblest characteristics of the late Revolution.
The freemen of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise and entangled the question in precedents. They saw all the consequences in the principle, and they avoided the consequences by denying the principle. We revere this lesson too much ...to forget it."

      Samuel Adams :

"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards."
