For my babies combined birthday party! Throwing a party and making a cake in one day left me no time to set-up a decent photo ; (

love this! that's so funny i was going to do a Dr Seuss themed party for my two little ones combined birthday i usually make two separate cakes on for my son and one for my doughter but i only wanted to do one cake this year and i thought Dr Seuss was perfect for boys and girls.

I am still trying to figure out how you managed to do this and pile up those cakes!!! Wonderfully done!

Thanks! I'm still kinda in wonder, too, lol. The teacup is styro, I used 3 skewers to hold the right side of the top cake in place, and one dowel through the left side and all the way through the bottom cake into the base core board. I figured if the hat got smashed on the right side, well, it should look that way! But it didn't.

Things I didn't finish: Painting "tea" in the cup, painting the flame yellow on the candle, and placing the fish under the top cake. I was also going to write somewhere: "Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

Wowser! Hey, girl -how did you know I have a Dr. Suess page in the making?? LOL - This is epic! You are SUPER talented.

Thanks! One game the kids really enjoyed: I put a huge pile of socks on the floor and then timed the kids as they put as many on one foot as they could. I included a pair of Cat in the Hat socks, so the kids with the most plus those with the special socks each won a prize.
