World War II Short Sunderland flying boats - mystery location

A great shot from one flying boat looking out over a flight of at least six others. Interesting to read this article - www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-29441180 - which uses a version of this image, and then based on the comments below it is clear that the image here has been significantly manipulated, no doubt to obscure the actual location.

This image is a medium format transparency that is actually a picture of a print pinned to a piece of wood.

A further taster from a batch of WWII images I acquired this week (200+ medium format transparencies and negatives). The batch contains a fairly random selection of images covering all three armed services and seemingly spread from Europe to Africa/Middle East.
