Two similar frames of resting western sandpipers and a sanderling along Limantour Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore. I like the cleaner composition of the top shot, however, it bothers me a bit that the front most western sandpiper is outside of the plane of focus just enough that its not quite sharp. In the frame below, the sandpiper is more in focus due to increased dof, but I'm not as crazy about the rest of the shot. What do you think?
