Lego Fokker D.VII
The Fokker D.VII was arguably the best German fighter scout of the first world war. It was an unusual design for a late war fighter, with a very large upper wing and inline engine, but it had exceptional performance. This was largely attributed to its excellent stall characteristics, which allowed the D.VII to get very slow, and even hang on the prop and shoot up at enemies. The allies quickly learned to take it seriously as a very dangerous adversary. This model took me a long time to get right in this scale. I also wanted to figure out a way to get the mottled camouflage under the wing of late war fighters right. Now, after spending almost a year with her, it's one of my favorites.
