Halloween & Darker Nights
When the clocks go back towards the end of October, West Midlands Police traditionally sees a rise in reports of burglary and anti-social behaviour.

To help combat this increase, the force runs a 'Darker Nights' campaign to highlight the simple but effective steps householders can take to reduce their chances of becoming a victim of burglary at this time of year.

The campaign also raises awareness of the effects of anti-social behaviour on our communities - particularly elderly or vulnerable people - during Halloween and Bonfire Night.
