Taking Shape: The Visual And Performing Arts Center
On Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, Western Connecticut State University students, staff, faculty and friends joined contractor Dimeo Construction and its employees to celebrate the placement of the final steel beam in the School of Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Westside campus. The center includes a 350-seat concert hall, a 350-seat theater, art gallery, recording studio and state-of-the-art rehearsal space, classrooms and studio art facilities. The building is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.
