halifax [nova scotia]: a foggy welcome
arriving early afternoon (after some twenty hours of travelling already) we tried to stay awake till late evening in hope of minimizing jet lag. we decided to explore the downtown halifax waterfront which was completely wrapped in fog and drizzle that day. amongst some tugboats and many other vessels we discovered a relatively small sailing boat solitarily laying in the leaden water. a kind of calming and yet surreal sight.
