Red Clock

Active Assignment Weekly (8st - 15th Dec) - Time
WIT: Took the clock apart to get the glass out to avoid glare. Used a flashlight off to the right to get the shadows. Took two shots and combined them together in Photoshop Elements.

Cool shot and use of Photoshop. Although it's two distinct shots, I like the way that it looks like there are 3 shadows to the longhand.

So perfect I thought it was rendered.

This is great - since I saw the assignment I've been thinking about how to get a shot like this. You've already nailed it!! Beautifully Sharp

Terrific! Great idea pulling the glass.

Amazing. What lens did you use. It is pinpoint sharp anyways.
    Love the idea.
A little disturbing to get what are the shadows (off center) and what are the actual needles. Probably a single long exposure with several flashes from the flashlight from different angles would have done the shadow trick even better.
The glass removal is just smart ( I had quite some issues with reflexes this week).

Prozac, I used the 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens that came with the camera.

This is sharp. Removing the glass was a great idea, I agree. Nice photoshop skills, I thought this was a single image.

Edit: I voted this "Best Of Week 3" (from Active Assignment Weekly group).

This is simply wonderful, I hope you didn't damage it by removing the glass, we break lots of things to get our pictures done right, beside the chrome note I added which is a matter of personal taste, the picture is simply wonderful and tack sharp, very well done,
