day 1 - complete!

Newer Older

The Oasis on Lake Travis... a perfect end to day one at Trey Ratcliff's HDR Workshop. These two were setting up for some sunset shots from our private patio overlooking Lake Travis. Also created this sunset pano the same evening.

Thus far I've REALLY gotten my money's worth. Hearing Trey talk details and thought processes on his approach has helped me quite a bit. If you check his site, StuckInCustoms.com, you'll see his next image post of a pier. We got to watch as he took the original images through the HDR process on to its final form - then posting on the site.

Sunday... more teaching, quite a bit of one-on-one time - and lots of coffee.

I don't normally fave shots w/ people in them but this one is stunning - amazing composition & colours.

Hey that's me on the left. :-)

I like the starburst sun and the leading lines of the shadows. Nicely done, Wes. You did some great work in the workshop.

Thanks everyone for the great comments!

Wow, when Trey posts a link to you on his site it really generates traffic. I love it!!! I usually get 40 to 60 visitors per day on my Flickr page but after Trey linked ... almost 3000! Thanks Trey :)
