A different World in Infrared (Boston/Cambridge)

    Newer Older

It is fascinating to imagine, that we only see a very restricted wave-length of light. If we would see more, we can see sound, radio waves or warming waves. On way to discover a new world is infrared photography. Theses are photo that are made out of light that we can not see. Fascinating and in someway surreal.

The photos looks like winter, but they have been captured in the middle of the summer. Some of the spots you know already.

Frank, thank you for introducing me to infrared ;-)

      Great photos!
I love infrared photography but my Canon Rebel XSi doesn't take it.......I know there are plug-ins that mimic it but I haven't seen one that does it justice.......how are you shooting your infrared??

Fantastic, I have a D90 and can only hope to get shots like yours. Did you use a filter or process it afterwords to get the IR?

I like this. Those IR filters are quite expensive.
