Urban Art Collection
The City of West Hollywood’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission (ACAC) provides oversight of the City’s Urban Art Ordinance. The City of West Hollywood initiated the Urban Art Program in 1987. The Program is committed to promoting interest in the arts and adding vibrancy to West Hollywood's urban fabric. The Urban Art Policy, codified in the West Hollywood Municipal Code, requires developers of certain projects to contribute one percent of the project cost to public art. Developers can choose to place an on-site artwork or contribute the one percent amount to the City's Public Art and Beautification Fund.
