Wild Turkey in Backyard

I assume this is a wild turkey, which I found wandering about the backyard! It has stopped by to eat wild bird seed, drink water from the birdbath, and just walk about. It doesn’t seem to mind people, squirrels, or small birds, but definitely doesn’t like crows! Because it has been here for 3 days now, in the mornings, I’m wondering if perhaps it can’t fly, though it does flap its wings and looks quite healthy. It has a distinctive “gobble, gobble,” so I assume it’s a male, though its coloring is pretty much brown. Can you tell me anything about it, since I know practically nothing about wild turkeys. This is a first-time event for me!
