Sorry for the quality. Let me explain. I thought this would be a nifty seed head to photograph, but I thought I'd be smart. After all, they didn't need to be attached to the plant any more. So I plucked off the top and headed indoors away from all the mosquitos. I held the stalk in my outstretched hand right by the window, checking out my camera settings trying to decide what I wanted to try. Well, I took this photo to see if the settings would work, and, half a second later a big white paw struck the seed heads, scattering every last one of them in our bedroom. Any guesses who's paw?
